Docking speed to hangar 102

I’m finally back to Danton station, one of the most overwhelming and technologically impressive pieces of the Elder mankind’s ingenuity. Originally built for research and a long lost project of colonizing other worlds now serves as one of the main hubs in The Universo for all creatures to interact in trade or gambling, some call it a true den of vice. I might go for some gambling myself later.

Although, in a regular business day, anyone could see a vast array of different creatures from all corners of Universo there are some whose very existence is debated between its inhabitants: Meninas, with the fabled ability to phase in and out of existence and travel between planes, sometimes referred as Faceted or Lux depending on who you ask, but they could very well be one and the same, no one in living memory has ever seen one, sounds like myths and legends for little children if you ask me.

I’ve heard stories about another species, the Didrian. According to very few traders and bounty hunters, they are a turtle-like race who reject modern technology and have remarkable fighting skills in close quarters. Never seen one myself but rumors speak of Planet Y, their homeworld, and apparently you can’t get there by conventional means, something about an Obsidian Gate you need to get through. I’ll just believe it when I see it.

Danton Station Risky Game

To the matter at hand, I came here to finish a contract and gamble a bit playing one of Danton’s most popular risky game right now. Meninas and Didrians might not be real, but they’ve existed for a while as cards and have brought me a fair bit of luck. Rules are pretty simple:

● 5 cards are dealt to each player and the program makes the match to add and validate the points in the hand + surplus of NFTs.

● Each player is shown how many points he/she has. (First hand)

● Each player exchanges his cards for others as he/she wishes, to a maximum of three.

● The program shows you the points accumulated in each player of the cards it has discovered. If the player has not yet discovered any cards, no score is shown or displayed either.

● The program displays the amount bet and an indicator where it states if the player is in (green) or out (red)

● At the moment when the card exchange is made, it is the only moment where the bet amount can be increased, without exceeding the limit previously established for the table.

● Those who accept the increase in the bet continue playing, while those who do not accept will wait for another game to start, in case no other player at the table wants to accept the increase, the player who increased the bet wins the game .

● All the previous steps until 3 rounds are completed.

Who wins?

● If there are only two or three players, the player that accumulates the most points takes it all

● If 4 or more players are found, the program determines the three best scores and the following percentage is transferred from the total money bet.

— First best score 55%

— Second best score 30%

— Third best score 15%

Card back

So, that’s another win for me. There are other factors that could affect your gameplay depending on what cards you have, but you rather try it yourself and have fun. I think I’ll just get a drink now, find new contracts or just sit back and watch some more gambling, who knows? There might be more money here for grabs today than hunting in The Universo.
